December 8, 2011: Fire Station 1 (Eastern Hill) temporarily closed due to a diesel leak in the building
November 17, 2011: New Fire Station 30 (Templestowe) is commissioned.
October 21, 2011: Rosenbauer Pumper enters trial service as Pumper 44.
October 5, 2011: Training begins for the Rosenbauer Pumper trial appliance at Fire Station 44 (Sunshine).
August 21, 2011: Today marks 20 years since the Coode Island fire .
May 17, 2011: Car 165 up for auction at Manheim.
April 13, 2011: Car 160 & Car 164 enter service as Decon 38 & Transporter 44.
